TEAL Receives Growth Award from GE Healthcare
Wednesday, May 09, 2007, SAN DIEGO, CA. - TEAL ELECTRONICS CORPORATION. Awards were given to suppliers in several categories. With a base of more than 5000 suppliers to GEHC, only 11 companies received awards, and only 3 received Growth awards. The Growth awards were based on a variety of criteria, including Quality, Productivity, and driving Simplification. TEAL was also the very first supplier to sign the Annual Business Agreement stipulating requirements for quality, fulfillment, and productivity for the term of the contract. TEAL provides power subsystems and AC power supplies to a variety of applications within GE Healthcare, with focus on the medical imaging business segment. The TEAL power subsystem is an integral and key component in several MRI and X-Ray systems produced by GE Healthcare.
