Global-GUARDIAN™ Transportable Power Conditioner Product Line

TEAL ELECTRONICS announces the Global-GUARDIAN ™ field transportable power conditioner product line, a COTS family of generic power line conditioners available for military and aerospace automated test equipment.

The Global-GUARDIAN™ Field Transportable Power Conditioning and Distribution Units, 2kVA, and 5kVA models, are the first commercial-off-the-shelf series of 2-man lift transportable power conditioners being delivered to defense industry manufacturers of automatic test equipment and other line noise sensitive electronics. The Global-GUARDIAN™ family of products allows systems to operate from three phase 200VAC to 415VAC power grids, mitigating the effects of line transients and harmonics that can destroy or seriously weaken many electronic components and loads.

These initial models, STW02T & STW05T, operate from three phase line power, providing conditioning through a low impedance isolation transformer with multiple taps for alternative world-input-voltages, isolating the output neutral and power leg from the input line. The unit also includes patented TEALwave® low pass tracking filters along with redundant surge suppressors to withstand and protect against worst-case power line surges up to 6000V/3000A for both ring-wave and impulse waveforms.

The Global-GUARDIAN™ product line is designed to satisfy the COTS demand of the military services. The main benefits are the assurance of clean power during the initial development and setup, and the ongoing mitigation of line transient problems typical in field and at depot level operations. Additional benefits include the simplification of installations by allowing plug and play setup, eliminating the need for multi-box distribution, isolation and protection solutions, all in a compact 2-man lift field transportable unit.
