(October 3, 2011) -TEAL Electronics, a San Diego based subsidiary of SL Industries, Inc. (AMEX:SLI), announces the signing of strategic Channel Partners for the TEALsolar™ family of products, including the UL-1741 Listed Configurable Combiner Box. “TEAL Electronics recently launched our initial products in support of the Solar Power market, the TEALsolar™ Configurable Combiner Box product family. Our new Channel Partners, who are all experienced in power applications, will increase our responsiveness and add value to our customers with strong regional support of the TEALsolar™ product family.” said Gary Jasinski, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TEAL Electronics. TEAL’s Channel Partners will be initially focused on servicing their customers with the TEALsolar™ Configurable Combiner Box, which is available in 8-string, 12-string, 16-string, 20-string, 28-string, and 36-string systems. The standard configurations include a DC Disconnect and TVSS (transient voltage surge suppression) device integrated into the unit. The DC Disconnect and TVSS device can be optionally removed. Fuses also come standard. Enclosure options available are Painted Steel (NEMA 3R or 4) or Non-Metallic (NEMA 4X Fiberglass).
