TEAL Announces TEALwatch® Firmware Release 3.0, Enabling Active Email Notification of a Power Event.
TEAL Electronics Corporation (San Diego, CA) announces the Release 3.0 firmware for the TEALwatch® power monitor product family. Release 3.0 enables active email notification of a power related event, to allow your Field Service Organization to know a power event occured immediately. Other improvements include the visual interface, Real Time Clock settings, and a manual event Trigger button to capture a waveform at anytime.
What is the TEALwatch®?
The TEALwatch® power monitor is an embedded power monitor designed to be integrated into 3-phase OEM power subsystems. The TEALwatch® power monitor is a low-cost design, enabling cost-effective permanent installation for 24x7x365 site monitoring. A web-browser interface enables remote monitoring from anywhere in the world with standard web-browser software, no special software is required. Standard Ethernet connectivity enables easy Internet, Intranet, or direct connection to your PC. The TEALwatch® is easy to use and also has fully adjustable and programmable triggering set points.
A major benefit of the TEALwatch® embedded power monitor is the ability to remotely diagnose system issues that may be associated with the AC power. This 24x7x365 remote diagnostic capability can significantly reduce warranty and service costs by reducing service calls to the site and enabling correlation of a system issue with the AC power, eliminating guesswork in your troubleshooting. "The TEALwatch® power monitor represents a major advance for embedded remote power quality monitoring. This monitor combines a cost-effective and very flexible hardware platform and a very easy to use web browser based software interface. The TEALwatch® does not require special software to operate, and utilizes Ethernet for either direct or Internet connection.
