TEAL Receives Workplace Excellence AwardNovember 12, 2005 TEAL Receives Workplace Excellence Award TEAL named a “Great Place to Work” in San Diego TEAL Electronics Corporation (San Diego, CA) was recognized as one of the region's best places to work when the San Diego Society for Human Resource Management, in partnership with The Union-Tribune, named TEAL Electronics as a recipient of a 2005 Workplace Excellence Award. “TEAL recognizes that providing leadership training for managers, supervisors and lead assemblers helps make sure that basic leadership skills are constantly being reinforced and used,” said William Bickel, General Manager. “Our front-line people are given the tools to incorporate our vision and values throughout the organization.” The award winners were chosen from a field of more than 140 employers based in San Diego county, ranging from small companies with less than 50 employees and large organizations with more than 1,500 employees. The competition spotlighted companies of various industries employing human resource practices that increase both employee satisfaction and company performance. The 2005 San Diego Workplace Excellence Award recipients include: Grand Prize: Cox Communications Mega Companies (901 employees or more) Large Companies (446-900 employees) Mid-Size Companies (150-445 employees) Small Companies (1-149 employees)
