TEAL's History

TEAL Electronics was founded in 1985 as a manufacturer of isolation transformer based power-conditioning equipment. TEAL found a niche market serving the unique needs of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with custom power subsystem designs. Outsourcing non-core technologies, such as power-management, to TEAL allows our OEM customers to focus on their main product and avoid dedicating resources to power management, enabling them to quickly react to the constantly changing market.

In 1995 TEAL became a subsidiary of SL Industries, Inc.

In 2002, TEAL earned its ISO-9001:2000 certification, helping to ensure a continued dedication to quality. TEAL has remained focused on supplying the OEMs with the highest quality service in the industry. Providing the optimum solutions for a customer's power subsystem will continue to be the focus of TEAL's business moving forward.
