High Energy Filtering & Surge Suppression

TEAL specializes in high energy filtering and surge suppression (sometimes referred to as Transient Voltage Surge Suppression, or TVSS) to reduce or eliminate electrical noise and transients from your system, providing your equipment with a clean power source and reducing or eliminating equipment disruptions and damage.

TEAL typically integrates high-energy low-pass filters into an isolation transformer based power subsystem, and the filter is designed in conjunction with our isolation transformer for optimum performance vs. cost. Our customer's rely on high performance TEAL filter designs, including our patented TEALwave® filter, TEAL’s high-energy fast response filter that improves power quality while it protects valuable equipment.

TEAL also typically integrates modular and hot-swappable surge suppression devices into power subsystems, primarily as a secondary level of protection for an additional level power quality improvement and equipment protection. The TEAL surge suppressors are designed to protect your equipment from damaging and relatively slow surges or swells, and are designed to sacrifice themselves. TEAL typically uses surge suppressors with a built-in indicator to help determine if and when they might need replaced.
